Mission
Goals
According to homeless Hud: (Transitional housing refers to a supportive temporary accommodation that is meant to bridge the gap from uninformed to informed by offering structure, supervision, support for mental health, life skills, and education). Three Noble Hands will offer temporary housing to permanent housing by offering structure, supervision, support in health care, life skills, education, hygiene orientation, and gardening training. Three Noble Hands will recruit potential consumers from Orchards Children services, Development Center for Foster Children, and the Detroit Metropolitan Area. To offer these programs and/or services and to increase awareness of this population. Three Noble Hands will always look to support innovative ideas and efforts that align with our priorities to ensure all consumers and communities regardless of race, sex or income have an opportunity to reach their full potential.
Three Noble Hands will assist aging-out foster care young adult women from the ages of 18 to 25 with safe housing, workshops, resume building, preparing for mock interviews for employment, and providing support for independent living. This program will take place on the west side of Detroit at 1600 Pingree Detroit, Michigan 48206. The program will run year-round Monday through Friday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Monday-Thursday participants will be in training and on Friday participants will go job seeking.
Three Noble Hands have determined three community needs:
